so that my forefathers shall not have died in vain.

Pagan Lore for Today, July 6

This is a day sacred to all horned goddesses of the ancient Pagan religions: the Deer Mothers, Europa, Hathor, Hera, Io, Ishtar, Isis, Juno, Luna, Nephthys, Pasiphae, Selene, and so forth.
In Spain, the annual Running of the Bulls takes place on this day. The bull symbolizes fertility and the male procreative power and is a sacred animal to Apis, Baal, Bacchus, Dionysos Zagreus, Dumuzi, Enki, Freya, Menwer, the Minotaur, Moloch, Sin, Thor and Yama.

To take appearance for reality is a grievous sin

and the cause of all calamities.

You are the all-pervading, eternal

Old Woman Adage

Flowers are a gift from creator and just like any other gift from creator you can pick some if you want just don't take too many. As to wearing them on your body I wear one in my hair every now and then.
You got a problem with that?

OLD SADDLE BAGS AND SADDLES ...LESSON FOR GEEZERS

Got a hard lesson this week . Finally got the "fickle finger "to pull the saddle cinches tight . I was all pleased until I tried to mount .. "there in lies the rub " as they say ...my bad leg lifted right up to the stirrup ,but my other leg refused to spring up off the ground . Appy got impatient and tried her usual trick of getting the rider on the downhill side . Makes it harder to mount .[ for all you non horse people who may read this ] I finally crawled on from a stack of pallets. So much f… Continue

Flowers are for our souls to enjoy;
not for our bodies to wear. Leave
them alone and they will live out
their lives and reproduce themselves

Tribal women play an important and
respected role in their communities.
Women and men had specific duties,
and their roles in the tribe are valued.
Women's duties are not degrading, nor

Pagan Lore for Today, July 5

Every year on this date, the Aphelion of the Earth takes place. When this occurs, the planet Earth reaches the point in its orbit when it is farthest from the Sun. Many astrologers consider this to be a highly significant event.

In ancient Egypt, this day was held sacred to Maat, the goddess who presides over truth and wisdom.

independence Day for Native Americans
by Robin Carneen

When the lands are given back to us, and we don't have to do fund raisers or occupations to get them back ;

When the buffalo are not hazed and killed by government agencies;

When rocks are not sold as souvenirs on Alcatraz ;

When Indian names and images are not used as Sports mascots or for commercial selling of products ;

When we can have equal time in our classrooms across the United States to learn and speak our languages so they are… Continue

This is the real America

Read the whole story (written by an irish Sahaja Yogi):

The day began with half a dozen old codgers, including one woman, marching in with the Stars and Stripes and a few other flags I didn’t recognize, not being big on flags, but I was struck by the bearing and pride of those who walked behind the flags. And I understood too for the first time, that this is how men walked into battle, in line, in step, and with martial music blasting in th… Continue

Aspergers Syndrome from one who lives with this

Hi group, I woke up this morning all set to research an article on Aspergers to explain my lack of knowledge in quite a few areas, the internet for on big example. However I thought it best to explain how having Aspergers affects me, perhaps if I do, then people will take the big breath they need to when I don't do something correctly or when they tell me something over & over again & I don't get it.
For starters, my IQ is around 147 which is not genius, but certainly not stupid either.… Continue
